FEES : Our team at Hera understands that the cost of living is skyrocketing, however, in order for us to deliver top quality healthcare as a specialist service, we do need to set our fees accordingly. Our clinic fees also cover the out of consultation direct messaging and advice that our doctors often provide to support you through your journey. Paying for quality healthcare is sometimes difficult, but it is a worthwhile investment in yourself.
We prefer to be transparent with our fees but please be aware that with inflation and changing Medicare rebates, prices are subject to change at any time.
CANCELLATION POLICY: SMS reminders will be sent one week before your appointment and 48 hrs prior also. We get the ‘brain fog’, but it is still your responsibility to remember your appointment date and time! If you cannot attend your appointment at Hera, please inform us as soon as possible so we can give your allocation to someone else who has been patiently waiting for an appointment.
Failure to inform us of a cancellation within 48 hrs of your appointment will result in a penalty of 50% of the original appointment fee.
A ‘no- show’ to the appointment will result in a penalty of 100% of the original appointment fee, and will need to be paid in order to have a subsequent appointment.
TRIAGE and WAITLIST: Unfortunately all of our doctors are completely at capacity at present so our books are closed to new patients. Currently our priority is to look after the patients we do have and ensure that they are stabilised. * Please keep checking back on our website and socials as this will change as we get more doctors and more spaces become available later in the year*
We can only fit in new very complex PMDD/mental health or gynaecological cases where another GP or specialist has contacted us directly.
Please note: any shuffling or cancellation of new or follow up appointments will mean a longer wait time for you to get back in to see your doctor. If you cannot attend your scheduled follow up appointment in person, consider switching to a video or phone consultation so that there is no disruption to the flow of your management plan.
We will always try our very best to accommodate your requests and of course understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. Exceptions to our cancellation policy may be made at the discretion of the practice on a case-by-case basis. Please contact reception by phone as soon as possible if you believe your situation warrants an exception.
